Membership Information

​Our Give It A Shot program is the first step to membership.  It gives prospective members an opportunity to see if they like the team and the sport without obligation.  

Give It A Shot is three and a half hour program that teaches firearms safety, discusses the various shooting sports in which we compete, and answers questions about the team.​​

Firearms and ammunition are included in the $25 fee and completion of the program meets the team's requirement that all members complete a firearms safety program.

The Tampa Bay Clays offers instruction for youth  and collegiate students  who are interested in learning how to shoot American Trap (ATA) and Olympic Trap (Bunker Trap).

Prior to shooting in the orientation class, each participant and their parent/guardian will be required to complete a consent and waiver form. Becoming a member of the team costs $125, $100 if you attend Give It A Shot, which is paid at the conclusion of the orientation.  The first year membership fee includes your registration with the Amateur Trapshooters Association (ATA), the ATA's youth program known as AIM, and the Scholastic Clay Target Program (SCTP).  

As part of your first year's dues, you will receive a team jersey.  You will receive a subsidized shooting vest after one year of membership.
